After death

Rules for partner and orphan pensions after death will change.

Your surviving relatives will receive a partner and/or orphan pension from the pension provider of the employer you were working for at the time of your death. It makes no difference whether you had only recently started working for them or had been employed there for a long time.

In addition, you have accrued a small amount of partner pension with Forward. These accrued rights will also be transferred to the new Forward scheme.

Upon retirement, you will be able to choose the percentage of partner pension you wish to insure from that moment onwards.
