Unchanged: pension for life

You’ll receive pension for life—even if you live very long.

As long as you are not yet retired, you will have insight into your individual pension capital. At your retirement date, a pension will be granted based on the value of this capital. You will then receive pension payments for as long as you live. The amount will keep fluctuating in line with economic developments.

Please be assured that your pension capital cannot simply run out. This is because a redistribution takes place among the pension assets of all retirees. Since some individuals live longer than average and others shorter, a life-long pension will be available for everyone.

In addition to your Unilever Pension, you will also receive a state pension (AOW) from the Dutch government. The AOW is paid out for life too.
