Lower premium?

Prefer to pay a lower premium? That will be possible with a salary above €80,000.

Unilever and the trade unions have decided to offer all employees with a salary above €80,000 the option to contribute less for their pension. (Currently, only employees in Work Level 3 and 4 have access to this option.)

You will be able to choose to pay pension contributions on the portion of your salary up to:

• €80,000, or
• €95,000, or
• €110,000.

If you make use of this option, you will receive a higer net salary immediately. The trade-off is that you will receive a lower pension from Forward in the future. You may revise your choice once per year.

If you are eligible, we will contact you around mid-2026.

Participation in the Forward pension scheme is mandatory for all Unilever employees. Under Dutch law, pension accrual is permitted on a maximum annual salary of €137,800.
